Princess AU

AU where the Kihumi family was never decimated and continued to be the highest ranking family in Kidama under the royal family. Miu is the social equivalent of a princess and all of her family is alive, Hart is still the disinherited cousin of the ruling family in Bergard. Since the Kihumi never fell and thus Kidama was not forced to withdraw from the war, parts of the Highlands are close allies with Kidama, including Bergard. 

Miu and Hart became friends during her family’s visits to Bergard to talk politics with the leader. All of Kidama was scandalized when the Kihumi heir married a middle-class Highlander; all of Bergard was resigned to hosting the psuedo-princess’s family a dozen times a year when she decided to stay in the city.

Hart’s wardrobe reflects a slight difference in fashion thanks to Bergard’s close ties with Kidama. Miu’s outfit is actually pretty darn casual for someone of her rank.
