Young Reese

Reese’s mom was from Hoenn, and she would sometimes take Reese and Reese’s older half-brother back to her hometown for vacation. 

Reese was much more into befriending Pokemon back then. Adults she met even thought she had an uncanny knack for it, though it was her brother who was the promising battler.

After their mom died, the kids were separated and sent to live with their respective fathers. Reese became withdrawn and eventually ran away from home; she was scouted by Team Rocket while sleeping on the streets of Celadon.
